WWE has officially announced several exciting matchups and appearances for the upcoming Monday’s WWE Raw, which serves as the go-home edition before the highly anticipated SummerSlam event.
Among the confirmed highlights at the Toyota Center in Houston, TX, fans can expect to see the World Heavyweight Champion, Seth Rollins, team up with Sami Zayn to take on Damian Priest and Dominik Mysterio. Additionally, the show will feature appearances from Brock Lesnar and Logan Paul, as well as a thrilling match between Valhallah and Maxxine Dupri.
However, it has been revealed by Dave Meltzer during his discussion on Wrestling Observer Radio that Drew McIntyre, who is set to challenge GUNTHER for the Intercontinental Title at SummerSlam, will unfortunately be absent from Monday’s Raw. The reason behind his absence is due to his involvement in a new action film titled “The Killer’s Game,” where he shares the screen with rapper Ice Cube and former WWE star Dave Bautista. McIntyre is currently shooting the movie, and at present or in the near future, he is expected to be in Budapest, Hungary.
As a result of his filming commitments, Drew McIntyre will not be part of the Raw event.
