Perennial main-event caliber with Christian, Copeland redefined tag team wrestling through seven World Tag Team Championship reigns and established himself as one of WWE's most decorated singles performers, capturing eleven world titles—including a record seven World Heavyweight Championship reigns—while earning the distinction of winning the King of the Ring, inaugural Money in the Bank briefcase, and Royal Rumble, accomplishments no other wrestler has matched. Known as The Master Manipulator and Ultimate Opportunist for his underhanded brilliance, Copeland headlined WrestleMania main events before cervical spinal stenosis forced retirement in 2011, only to defy expectations by returning to wrestling a decade later.

At AEW's Double or Nothing, Copeland and Christian defeated FTR to become the new AEW World Tag Team Champions, not taking anything for granted ahead of the PPV despite having already been forced into retirement once, with very few expecting him to wrestle into his 50s. The match with Christian against FTR represented everything Copeland wanted when he returned to wrestling and joined AEW, and he's keeping going until the wheels come off.
