We're deep in the summer grind with SummerSlam looming, and the blue brand is still sorting out its women's division after the Interim Women's Championship picture took shape. Tonight from Oakland, we're getting qualifier action that could reshape the landscape heading into the biggest party of the summer. The energy's there — now it's about who capitalizes.
Interim WWE Women's Championship Ladder Match Qualifier: Charlotte Flair vs. Nia Jax
This is exactly the kind of match that defines a qualifier round — both women have credibility, both have title history, and neither can afford to look weak heading into the main event picture. Charlotte's a lock to be somewhere near the top of the card by August, but Nia's been resurgent and this is her shot to prove it's not a fluke. Someone's walking out with momentum.

Tom Brady or Logan Paul gets mentioned on commentary in some acknowledgment of the celebrity circus that's swallowing 2026 wrestling. Cody's comments on *The Tonight Show* about celebrities muscling in on his business are still fresh, and it feels like commentary might lean into the growing tension between "real wrestlers" and the mainstream crossover stuff.
