The Card
WWE NXT is operating in the shadow of a stacked SummerSlam card, with the main roster consuming all the oxygen in the building. Between CM Punk vs. Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins, and the continued circus around Ryan Garcia, tonight's developmental brand show needs to remind people why they should care about what happens in Orlando.
O.T.M. (Bronco Nima & Lucien Price) vs. BirthRight (Channing 'Stacks' & TBD)
Tag team wrestling has been a bright spot for NXT, and this feels like the kind of match that could steal the show if given time. BirthRight's momentum needs tending to heading into the summer.
WAW Pick: O.T.M. retains control via some underhanded tactics, keeping the title picture simmering.
Thekla makes an unexpected appearance or vignette. She's been out of the AEW picture following Redemption, and WWE has a habit of quietly signing talent without fanfare. The timing of her recent interviews about Megan Bayne being "mean" could just be repositioning her narrative for a different audience.
