About AJ Francis
A former WWE NXT standout as Top Dolla in Hit Row, AJ Francis parlayed a pre-wrestling career as an NFL defensive lineman into one of the most physically imposing presences on the TNA roster. He captured the TNA Digital Media Championship from Laredo Kid on June 6, 2024, and days later purchased the long-dormant Canadian International Heavyweight Championship, declaring himself its new champion — a heel power move that defined his First Class run. He ultimately dropped both titles to PCO at Slammiversary on July 20, 2024.
At Final Resolution in December 2024, Francis challenged Nic Nemeth for the TNA World Championship and came up short. He re-signed with TNA through the remainder of 2026, citing TNA’s expanding partnership with AMC as a major factor in his decision to stay. Francis has publicly called out Mike Santana for a Slammiversary showdown, keeping himself firmly in the spotlight both inside the ring and on social media.
