Alex Hammerstone

Debuting on the Arizona independent circuit in 2013, Alexander Hammerstone built one of MLW's defining careers — becoming a former MLW World Heavyweight Champion, the inaugural and longest-reigning National Openweight Champion, and the winner of Battle Riot in 2021. His 644-day reign as MLW World Heavyweight Champion dominated the main event scene, with the Nightmare Pendulum as his calling card. He also made notable appearances in TNA and on WWE's NXT brand.

Hammerstone made a surprise return to MLW at Battle Riot VII in April 2025 after a stint with TNA Wrestling. Most recently, once seen as the proud franchise of MLW, he has undergone a startling transformation since reuniting with longtime ally MJF at Fightland, operating as a heel. He appeared on the current MLW roster and competed on the milestone MLW Fusion 200th episode special against Último Guerrero in June 2026, firmly back in the title picture.
