Jonathan Figueroa, better known by his ring name Amazing Red, is a Puerto Rican professional wrestler. He is best known for working for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), where he is a former three-time X Division Champion and one-time NWA World Tag Team Champion. Red invented acrobatic maneuvers like the Code Red that influenced generations of high-flyers. His career highlights include multiple reigns as the TNA X-Division Champion starting with his first win in 2003, and tag team successes such as the ROH World Tag Team Championship alongside AJ Styles. Red’s enduring legacy was formally recognized with his induction into the Independent Wrestling Hall of Fame as the first member of the 2025 class.
In April 2019, Red announced his retirement from professional wrestling due to a severe neck injury. However, he would return to the ring only a few months later. At 42, Red is still going strong and has developed charisma and mic skills, doing an amazing job especially in his full time House of Glory Stint. Amazing Red appeared at the Slam Fest events in Las Vegas over WrestleMania weekend in 2026, remaining active on the independent circuit.
