South African-born Adam Bridle, known to the world as Angélico, built his reputation as one of the most daring high-flyers of his generation — a three-time AAA World Tag Team Champion alongside Jack Evans and a two-time Lucha Underground Trios Champion with Ivelisse and Son of Havoc. Currently working for AEW and Ring of Honor, he operates as part of the Spanish Announce Project alongside Serpentico. His capoeira-influenced striking, springboard dives, and floor-level submission work remain his calling cards across two decades on the independents and in major promotions.
On June 11, 2026, Angelico stepped up for an ROH World Championship Proving Ground match against champion Bandido, falling via hurricanrana pin. Just days earlier, a special ROH episode taped May 30 in Huntsville saw him compete in a four-way for the ROH TV Title against AR Fox, Sammy Guevara, and Ace Austin. He's clearly being used as a credible challenger in ROH's title ecosystem heading into the Global Wars Cincinnati card.
