Anthony Bowens
About Anthony Bowens

Bowens became known for his time as a former one-time AEW World Tag Team Champion and longest-reigning AEW World Trios Champion as a member of The Acclaimed, becoming the first openly gay wrestler to win a championship in AEW. He helped turn The Acclaimed into one of AEW’s most popular tag teams with the “scissor me” catchphrase. His technical tag team work and charisma defined his run alongside partner Max Caster throughout the early-to-mid 2020s.
Following tensions that rose in 2024, Bowens sided with Billy Gunn in January 2025 on AEW Collision, leading to Caster disbanding The Acclaimed. Since early 2025, Bowens has competed as a solo wrestler, embracing his moniker as the Pride of AEW. He remains signed to AEW, currently a member of The Opps.
