About Arik Cannon
Known by the ring name “The Anarchist”, Arik Cannon has built a career in the independent wrestling circuit since his professional debut on September 22, 2001. He became the IWA Mid-South Heavyweight Champion by defeating Petey Williams in the Ted Petty Invitational Tournament, defending it against Roderick Strong and Austin Aries before being forced to give it up due to injury in 2004. Career highlights include multiple title reigns including the AAW Heritage Championship, CHIKARA Young Lions Cup Championship, and numerous other regional championships across independent wrestling.
Listed as a Freelancer on CAGEMATCH, Cannon continues active work on the independent circuit. He owns and operates the Minneapolis-based wrestling promotion F1RST Wrestling and remains a fixture across independent promotions nationwide, combining his technical wrestling prowess with his responsibilities as a promoter and trainer for the next generation of independent wrestlers.
