About Ava
Fourth-generation member of the Anoa’i family and daughter of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Ava debuted on the October 25, 2022, episode of NXT as a member of The Schism. Predominantly a manager on television, her only singles match was a loss to Ivy Nile at Heatwave in 2023. She transitioned to an authority role before being named General Manager of NXT on January 23, 2024 — the youngest GM in WWE history — with William Regal returning to officially bestow the title. During her tenure, she announced the creation of the NXT Women’s North American Championship, the first women’s secondary title in WWE.
She shared the screen with her father when The Rock stopped by NXT following its New Year’s Evil special in January 2025. On January 30, 2026, Ava announced she elected not to renew her WWE contract, ending her six-year tenure with the promotion.
