The Belfast-born “Beast of Belfast” carved out one of the most decorated careers on the British independent scene before catching WWE’s eye, most notably capturing the ICW World Heavyweight Championship in 2016 — the first time that title changed hands outside Glasgow — and later joining the NXT faction SAnitY alongside Eric Young, Nikki Cross, and Axel Tischer. Weighing in at 322 lbs, Damo defies the typical big-man mold by blending genuine size with mobility, making him dangerous in chaotic environments. Back on the indie circuit after his WWE run, he added the PROGRESS Men’s World Championship to his résumé, making history by winning the title outside London for the first time.
Currently active as a wrestler and promoter for MLW, PROGRESS Wrestling, and ICW, Damo also co-owns PROGRESS and DEFY Wrestling alongside his wife Nikki Cross. At the MLW Fusion taping on June 11, 2026, he defeated Wolfgang in a first-round Opera Cup Tournament match, then followed that up the very next night on June 12 by defeating Oddyssey in another Opera Cup bout — advancing deep into the tournament across back-to-back taping nights in New York and Philadelphia.
