Bill Dundee

Scottish-born William Cruickshanks, known professionally as Bill Dundee, debuted as a professional wrestler in 1962 and retired from in-ring competition on December 14, 2019. Dundee became a decorated champion and tag team specialist during his career, clashing and teaming with Jerry Lawler in the Memphis territory. He won the AWA Southern Heavyweight Championship nine times and the AWA Southern Tag Team Championship fourteen times. He defeated Tony Deppen in 2019 for an independent title before officially retiring that December.

Bill Dundee is a retired professional wrestler and author. As of the most recent public reports, Bill Dundee is alive but living with late-stage dementia, disclosed publicly by his son Jamie in September 2023.
