Brutus Beefcake

Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake rose to prominence during WWE’s national expansion in the 1980s and early 1990s as a flamboyant hairdresser who clipped opponents’ locks with his trademark shears. He won the WWF World Tag Team Championship with Greg Valentine and became a marquee star, memorable for his Sleeper Hold finisher and colorful gimmick before a parasailing accident nearly claimed his life in 1990. He made a miraculous comeback in 1991 with eight titanium plates, 32 screws and 100 feet of steel wire holding his face together.

Leslie is a retired American professional wrestler who was inducted in the WWE Hall of Fame in 2019. He retired from wrestling and returned to his home outside of Boston, where he spends time with his family and serves as General Manager and supervisor of more than 30 employees at Planet Fitness.
