About Bryan Danielson

Bryan Danielson

One of the most technically gifted performers in professional wrestling history, Bryan Danielson spent over two decades carving out a legacy defined by ring mastery, relentless intensity, and an unmatched ability to elevate every opponent. After wrestling for WWE for more than a decade and becoming a four-time WWE Champion, Danielson joined AEW in September 2021. There, he delivered landmark performances — including a critically acclaimed bout with Will Ospreay at AEW Dynasty 2024 — and won the AEW World Championship in a title-versus-career match before exiting as champion.

Danielson retired from full-time competition in October 2024 after losing the AEW World Championship to Jon Moxley at WrestleDream at the Tacoma Dome. He remained with All Elite Wrestling and officially joined Taz, Excalibur, and Tony Schiavone on the commentary team as a full-time color commentator for Dynamite and pay-per-views beginning September 10, 2025. AEW has since officially moved Danielson from the active roster page to the broadcast team section of its website.
