One half of FTR alongside Dax Harwood, Cash Wheeler built his foundation in WWE as Dash Wilder, where The Revival became the first WWE Tag Team Triple Crown winners, capturing the Raw, SmackDown, and NXT Tag Team Championships. After departing WWE in 2020, FTR rebranded and became the gold standard of tag team wrestling in the modern era, going on to hold championships across AEW, ROH, AAA, and NJPW — the only team to accomplish that feat across all five promotions. Wheeler and Harwood’s hard-hitting, throwback style, punctuated by the Shatter Machine finish, drew consistent comparisons to the great tag teams of the 1980s.
At Full Gear on November 22, 2025, FTR defeated Brodido to capture a record-tying third AEW World Tag Team Championship. They successfully defended against The Young Bucks at Revolution on March 15, 2026, before losing the titles to Adam Copeland and Christian Cage in an “I Quit” match at Double or Nothing on May 24, ending their third reign at 183 days. With the titles now gone, FTR’s long-term future in AEW has become a topic of discussion heading into the summer of 2026.
