A Mensa-certified journalist and podcaster, Cathy Kelley joined WWE in 2016 after serving as a panelist on recap shows for Monday Night Raw and NXT through AfterBuzz TV. She left WWE in February 2020 but returned in October 2022 as a backstage interviewer on Raw, where she joined SmackDown in June 2023. Her work centers on pulling out genuine emotion from talent through interviews and breaking news across WWE’s digital platforms.
Kelley trained at the WWE Performance Center to expand her on-screen presence, with the training designed to give her flexibility if a storyline called for it. On April 13 during Raw, she was caught in the crossfire when Liv Morgan attacked Stephanie Vaquer, with Vaquer crashing into Kelley at the turnbuckles, though WWE later confirmed she would be okay. She continues to enjoy her WWE role while exploring opportunities in television and film, keeping her options open professionally.
