About Cesaro
Claudio Castagnoli — the Swiss-born powerhouse known to WWE fans as Cesaro — spent over a decade with WWE between 2011 and 2022, racking up the inaugural André the Giant Memorial Trophy at WrestleMania XXX, a U.S. Championship reign, and seven tag title reigns including runs as part of The Bar with Sheamus. He departed WWE in February 2022 and debuted in AEW that June, quickly winning the ROH World Championship at Death Before Dishonor. He added the AEW World Trios Championship on August 25, 2024, alongside PAC and Wheeler Yuta, capturing the belts in a ladder match at All In Wembley.
Now operating under the Death Riders banner alongside Jon Moxley, Castagnoli remains a central figure in AEW. He captured the CMLL World Heavyweight Championship on November 28, 2025, before dropping the title to Hechicero at Homenaje A Dos Leyendas on March 20, 2026. He has since signed a dual contract with CMLL while retaining his AEW deal.
