One of the most technically gifted big men in modern wrestling, the Swiss Superman built his reputation as half of the Kings of Wrestling alongside Chris Hero in ROH before a cult-favorite eleven-year WWE run as Cesaro — seven tag title reigns, a United States Championship, and a WrestleMania XXX André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal win never quite translating into the main event push fans demanded. Signing with AEW in 2022, he became a two-time ROH World Champion and a core pillar of the Blackpool Combat Club.
Now aligned with the Death Riders, Castagnoli added the AEW World Trios Championship to his résumé. In November 2025 he captured the CMLL World Heavyweight Championship, defeating Gran Guerrero at Viernes Espectacular inside Arena Mexico. He remains active in AEW, publicly bullish on the company's trajectory, and has stated the Death Riders are focused on developing existing members rather than expanding their ranks.
