About Corey Graves

dubbed “The Savior of Misbehavior,” the Pittsburgh native carved out a legitimate NXT career, capturing the NXT Tag Team Championship alongside Adrian Neville before a serious concussion suffered during a feud with Neville, followed by a second concussion upon his return, forced him to retire from in-ring competition at just 30 years old in December 2014. Triple H offered him a commentary contract, and he debuted in the role at NXT TakeOver: R Evolution. He eventually became the voice of WWE Monday Night Raw and Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, regarded by some as this generation’s Bobby Heenan.

A staple of WWE commentary for nearly a decade, Graves was replaced by Pat McAfee on Raw’s commentary table in early 2025 and demoted to the NXT team. He returned to Raw alongside Michael Cole later that summer. Most recently, as of 2026, Graves remains active as a commentator and works outside WWE as a communications professor, and he stepped into the NXT booth on June 16, 2026, filling in alongside Vic Joseph.
