DAIKI NAGAI
WRESTLER PROFILEABOUT DAIKI NAGAI
A rising young lion in New Japan Pro Wrestling, Daiki Nagai made his professional wrestling debut on June 16, 2024, following his acceptance into the NJPW dojo after passing an entrance examination on his second attempt in April 2023. Unlike most young lions who keep a quiet demeanor, Nagai sets himself apart with his brash and straightforward approach, backing up his words with an aggressive style and unwavering fighting spirit.
Nagai is aligned with the Unbound Company and recently made his mark as a top prospect in NJPW's junior heavyweight division. In 2026, he earned a spot in the Best of the Super Juniors tournament after making a personal appeal to NJPW president Hiroshi Tanahashi, establishing himself as one of the promotion's most exciting young prospects on the main event scene.
