/ ABOUT DOUKI

Trained by Ultimo Dragon at Toryumon Mexico and steeped in lucha libre, DOUKI spent years grinding the Mexican indie circuit before returning to Japan and making his NJPW debut in May 2019. A longtime member of Suzuki-gun (2019–2022) and later Just 5 Guys (2023–2025), he truly broke through in 2024, capturing the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship and defeating many of the division's top names along the way.

2025 began with heartbreak at the Tokyo Dome, where an arm injury suffered during a high-paced rematch with El Desperado abruptly stopped the bout. DOUKI made a shocking return at Dominion, aligned with House of Torture alongside SHO, and eventually reclaimed the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship from Desperado. That second reign came to an end at NJPW Dominion 6.14 on June 14, 2026, when YOH defeated him to capture the title, with a four-way now set to determine the next contender.
