Eleven-time world champion and 2012 WWE Hall of Fame inductee, the Rated-R Superstar built his legend across two iconic WWE runs — first as one half of Edge and Christian, a tag team that helped define the TLC era with classics at SummerSlam 2000 and WrestleMania X-Seven, then as a conniving singles star who won the inaugural Money in the Bank in 2005 before cashing in on John Cena in January 2006 to claim his first WWE Championship. He first retired in 2011 due to neck injuries, then returned as a surprise Royal Rumble entrant in 2020 and won the 2021 Royal Rumble.

After his WWE contract expired in September 2023, he joined AEW and debuted at WrestleDream, going on to win the AEW TNT Championship twice. At Double or Nothing 2024, Copeland suffered a broken tibia after a high-risk cage jump, but returned at AEW Worlds End in December 2024 and has since targeted the AEW World Heavyweight Championship. He is currently one-half of the reigning AEW World Tag Team Champions alongside Christian Cage.
