/ ABOUT EL HIJO DEL VIKINGO
One of lucha libre's most spectacular high-flyers, El Hijo del Vikingo is a two-time AAA Mega Champion, with his first reign being the longest in AAA history at 833 days. His accolades also include the AAA Trios Championship with Los Jinetes del Aire, the Lucha Capital Championship, and victories in the Antonio Peña Cup, the Alas de Oro Tournament, and the Rey de Reyes Tournament. PWI ranked him fifth in the 2023 PWI 500. He is signed directly to WWE, where he performs under the AAA banner as a member of El Ojo.
The current AAA Latin American Champion, Vikingo captured the title by defeating El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. at AAA Noche de Los Grandes on May 31, 2026. Operating as a heel, he joined forces with AAA CEO Dorian Roldán and Omos in the newest incarnation of El Ojo after failing to dethrone Dominik Mysterio for the Mega Championship at Rey de Reyes on March 14, 2026, with a stipulation barring him from challenging for the title as long as Mysterio is champion.
