About Elayna Black

Chicago-born and formerly known as Cora Jade in WWE NXT, Elayna Black won the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship and made history as the youngest-ever NXT WarGames competitor, famously diving from the top of the steel cage. Before her WWE run, she built credibility on the independents with notable work in GCW and a 2019 appearance for IMPACT Wrestling. Released from WWE in May 2025, Black briefly returned to the indie circuit before taking a hiatus for the remainder of the year. She officially signed with TNA Wrestling and was introduced on the January 15 edition of Thursday Night iMPACT, appearing alongside on-screen authority figure Daria Rae.

Black has stated she intends to pursue the TNA Knockouts World Championship, and participated in the No. 1 contender’s battle royal at TNA No Surrender in February 2026. She faced Indi Hartwell on the June 18 edition of Thursday Night iMPACT in what was framed as a potential No. 1 contender match for the Knockouts Championship, with Black, Hartwell, and Ash By Elegance all actively chasing Knockouts gold.
