About Great Khali

The towering Indian giant who became the first Indian-born world champion in WWE history, standing over 7 feet tall and dominating opposition throughout the mid-2000s with his devastating Khali Bomb and intimidating presence. Khali won the World Heavyweight Championship in 2007 and competed against wrestling’s elite including The Undertaker, John Cena, and Batista before his in-ring career faded in the early 2010s.

Inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2021, Khali retired from active competition in 2014 and has since founded Continental Wrestling Entertainment, a wrestling school and independent promotion based in Punjab, India, though he continues making occasional WWE appearances.
