The Austrian powerhouse captured the Intercontinental Championship and became the longest-reigning Intercontinental Champion of all time with a historic 666-day reign. In 2024, Gunther won the King of the Ring tournament and dethroned Damian Priest to become the World Heavyweight Champion. Known as "The Ring General," Gunther built a reputation for retiring legends, ending the careers of Goldberg, AJ Styles, and John Cena in 2025. He is a former two-time World Heavyweight Champion and the longest-reigning WWE Intercontinental and NXT United Kingdom champion in company history.
Currently signed to WWE where he performs on the SmackDown brand, Gunther commands the main event whether or not a championship belt is around his waist. His commanding physical presence combined with his disciplined, hard-hitting style has made him one of the most formidable competitors in the company's current landscape.
