A founding member of AEW, Adam Page rose to prominence with tag team success alongside Kenny Omega before captivating audiences with his solo chase for the world title. He won the AEW World Championship at Full Gear 2021, ending Kenny Omega’s 346-day reign, then recaptured it on July 12, 2025, at AEW All In: Texas by defeating Jon Moxley in a Texas Death Match. A 2-time World Champion, he has won a total of 6 championships in major promotions during his career. He built a connection with the Dark Order, rallied crowds with the “cowboy shit” chant, and emerged as one of AEW’s most resonant figures.
Page lost his AEW World Championship to MJF at Revolution 2026 in a Texas Death match and per the stipulation, can never challenge for the AEW world title again. The current plan is for Page to take time off from AEW programming. Meltzer believes he has to be back in time to compete at Wembley, and while not a definite return date, the tea leaves seem to point to a return sooner rather than later.
