Hook
About Hook
A three-time and final FTW Champion — a title his father Taz established in ECW — Hook retired the belt at Grand Slam 2024 before turning heel at Full Gear on November 22, attacking “Hangman” Adam Page to hand Samoa Joe the AEW World Championship, cementing his place in The Opps. His finishing submission, the Redrum — a half nelson choke mirroring his father’s Tazmission — has been the calling card of a career built on suffocating, judo-inflected grappling. PWI named him Rookie of the Year in 2022.
Most recently, Hook competed at Double or Nothing, teaming with The Opps’ Anthony Bowens and Katsuyori Shibata in a loss to The Death Riders. On the May 2 Collision, he came up short challenging Kevin Knight for the AEW TNT Championship. Now stepping outside AEW, he makes his GCW debut against Joey Janela at Race Against Time on June 16, then challenges Atticus Cogar for the GCW World Championship at Amerika’s Most Wanted on June 27 in Los Angeles.
