Genius of the Sky and true aerial innovator, IYO SKY defined the high-flying landscape with flawless moonsaults and hurricanranas since her NXT debut in 2018. Former NXT Women's Champion and two-time World of Stardom Champion in Japan, she won the Money in the Bank contract at the 2023 event and cashed in at SummerSlam to defeat Bianca Belair for the WWE Women's Championship. In March 2025, Sky won the Women's World Championship, becoming the first Japanese wrestler to achieve Grand Slam Champion status in both Japan and the United States.

On January 5, 2026, Sky and Rhea Ripley defeated The Kabuki Warriors to win the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship, continuing her dominant reign. As of June 1, 2026, she advanced in the Queen of the Ring Tournament with a Fatal 4-Way victory over Roxanne Perez, Giulia, and Lash Legend, with Asuka later bidding farewell after losing to IYO SKY in a singles match at WWE Backlash.
