Jack Swagger

Jake Hager, known to WWE fans as Jack Swagger, has officially announced his retirement from professional wrestling. Swagger won a Money in the Bank contract, the World Heavyweight Championship and the United States Championship, becoming a prominent figure during his WWE tenure. He competed in WWE, AEW, and Bellator MMA as an All-American collegiate wrestler from the University of Oklahoma, with his amateur background forming the foundation of his “All-American American” character. He is best known for his tenures in WWE under the persona of Jack Swagger and with AEW from 2019 through 2024.

Hager’s last match was in November 2024. He announced retirement from wrestling to start a trucking company. Earlier this year, the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion revealed that he had officially signed with Power Slap, and Hager started with the Power Slap promotion during WrestleMania 42.
