About Jacques Rougeau
A Canadian wrestling legend from the 1980s and 1990s, Jacques Rougeau Jr. began his career as half of the tag team The Fabulous Rougeaus with brother Raymond before transitioning to singles competition as The Mountie, winning the WWF Intercontinental Championship and forming The Quebecers, a three-time WWF Tag Team Championship team with Pierre Ouellet. The Mountie character became regarded as one of the most memorable heels in WWE history.
Rougeau currently serves as director of the Lutte Academie, a wrestling school in Canada, and will be honored by AEW at its Redemption event in Montreal, with the company planning to celebrate the Rougeau family’s four-generation wrestling legacy.
