Jim Cornette

One of the greatest managers in wrestling history, Cornette built his legacy in the territorial era managing The Midnight Express to multiple NWA championships and wielding his signature tennis racket as a ruthless heel across Jim Crockett Promotions and other major territories. He later worked as booker, commentator, and talent developer for WCW, WWE, TNA, and Ring of Honor, founding and running Smoky Mountain Wrestling and Ohio Valley Wrestling.

Cornette currently hosts two podcasts, The Jim Cornette Experience and Jim Cornette’s Drive-Thru, with the latter being the most-played wrestling podcast as of July 2026, commanding one of the largest independent platforms in wrestling commentary and criticism.
