Joe Coffey

Glasgow’s own Joe Coffey built his reputation as a hard-hitting, technically sharp heavyweight across the Scottish and British indie scene, becoming a two-time ICW World Heavyweight Champion and ICW Zero-G Champion before joining WWE’s NXT UK brand in 2018. There he co-founded Gallus alongside his brother Mark Coffey and Wolfgang, serving as the stable’s leader and establishing himself as one of NXT UK’s defining fixtures through multiple NXT UK Championship challenges against Pete Dunne and WALTER.

Released from WWE in May 2025 after a visa-complicated transition period, Coffey and his stablemates — rebranded as Glasgow Boys on Top (GBOT) — made their surprise MLW debut at Battle Riot VIII in early 2026 before signing full contracts with the promotion. Now actively competing on MLW Fusion, Coffey has made clear that gold is the target and that his best work is still ahead of him.
