Best known for his tenure in WWE as Joe Gacy, Joseph Sawyer first gained prominence in Combat Zone Wrestling as a three-time CZW World Heavyweight Champion and three-time CZW Wired Champion. His call-up to WWE’s main roster saw him join The Wyatt Sicks in 2024, where he and Samuel Shaw captured the WWE Tag Team Championships in 2025. Known for his charismatic, character-driven work, Sawyer established himself as a skilled microphone performer and compelling promo artist throughout his career.
The Wyatt Sicks were released from WWE in 2026, and Sawyer returned to the ring at the July 24 REVOLVER Silence of the Slams event, defeating Rich Swann. During the GCW Rude event on August 1, Sawyer made a surprise appearance in Game Changer Wrestling, attacking GCW World Champion Atticus Cogar, signaling his emergence on the independent circuit under his new ring name.
