Backstage Update On Private Party’s AEW Absence
As reported by PWMania.com, former AEW World Tag Team Champions Private Party, consisting of Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy, faced…

An AEW original since the promotion’s debut, Quen built his reputation alongside Isiah Kassidy as Private Party, the duo having made waves on the indie circuit before upsetting the Young Bucks on the second-ever Dynamite. The team’s defining moment came on the October 30, 2024 episode of Dynamite, when they dethroned the Young Bucks to capture the AEW World Tag Team Championships, holding the titles for 84 days. The Hurt Syndicate ended that reign in January 2025. Known as “Mr. Aerial Assault,” Quen’s high-flying style is punctuated by Private Party’s Gin-and-Juice finisher — a Super Frankensteiner into a jumping cutter.
After a year-long hiatus, Private Party made their return on the February 11, 2026 episode of Dynamite. Quen last competed on the March 28 edition of Collision, where he and Kassidy fell to the Death Riders’ Jon Moxley and Daniel Garcia. He is currently injured, with AEW sources indicating he sustained some sort of tear. He is expected to miss significant time, with no estimated return date. Storyline-wise, the Death Riders have been credited with the injury, with Kassidy cutting a promo on Collision holding them responsible.
