One half of The Hardy Boyz alongside brother Jeff, a team that helped define the TLC match era and were key figures in the resurgence of WWE’s tag team division. As a singles competitor, Hardy has held the ECW Championship, two TNA World Heavyweight Championships, the United States Championship, the Hardcore Championship, the European Championship, and the Cruiserweight Championship. In 2016, he introduced the “Broken” character during his time in TNA, which was praised for its originality and awarded Wrestling Observer Newsletter Best Gimmick. On April 2, 2017, at WrestleMania 33, they made a surprise return to WWE and immediately won the Raw Tag Team Championship in a ladder match.
With contracts finalized, The Hardys remain key figures as TNA transitions into its AMC era. At NXT vs. TNA Showdown on October 7, 2025, the Hardy Boyz won the NXT Tag Team Championship after defeating DarkState’s Dion Lennox and Osiris Griffin in a Winners Take All match — before Lennox and Griffin regained the titles at NXT Halloween Havoc on October 25 in a Broken Rules match. Back in TNA, they’ve remained at the top of the tag division, most recently retaining the TNA World Tag Team Championship at Genesis on January 17, 2026.
