Dubbed the “First Lady of Wrestling,” Missy Hyatt spent four decades as one of professional wrestling’s most recognizable valets and personalities, making her name primarily through her run in World Championship Wrestling from 1987 to 1994, while also working WCCW, the UWF, WWF, and ECW. In WCW she managed the Steiner Brothers, served as one of the promotion’s first female on-air commentators, and feuded with Paul E. Dangerously — defeating him in an arm wrestling bout at Clash of the Champions XIV in January 1991. Her ECW stint in 1996 saw her manage the Sandman through his rivalry with Raven.
After leaving ECW, Hyatt continued working independent promotions, including Women Superstars Uncensored starting in 2007, before managing Lance Storm at WrestleCon 2016 against Matt Hardy — billed as her final professional wrestling appearance. She later surfaced at Homecoming as Brian Myers’ tag team partner, falling to Tommy Dreamer and Rachael Ellering in the first round. In 2026, Hyatt remains active on the convention circuit and has been a vocal presence on social media, publicly weighing in on industry controversies including the ongoing discourse surrounding Tommy Dreamer.
