About Mistico

Dominance from 2006 to 2011 established the template for modern lucha técnico excellence—holding five championships simultaneously in 2008 and winning CMLL’s Torneo Gran Alternativa and Leyenda de Plata tournaments three times each. A WWE stint as Sin Cara (2011–2014) preceded respectable reigns with AAA and CMLL under multiple names. At Revolution on March 15, 2026, Místico won the AEW World Trios Championship with JetSpeed, becoming a triple champion in both CMLL and AEW. Currently holds the CMLL World Light Heavyweight Championship and IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship with El Desperado.

Mystico returned from injury on June 5, 2026 at Arena Mexico, leading El Sky Team partners Mascara Dorada and Neon to victory in the main event. The 2025 Wrestling Observer Newsletter Wrestler of the Year has reclaimed his spot at the top of CMLL as the biggest draw in all of Mexico. Mistico competed at MLW’s Lucha Apocalypto on February 7 in Chicago and aims at the MLW World Heavyweight Championship.
