About Mr. Anderson

Former WWE United States Champion and 2007 Money in the Bank winner — back when he went by Mr. Kennedy — Ken Anderson made his biggest mark as a two-time TNA World Heavyweight Champion after signing with the promotion in 2010. Known for a theatrical self-introduction that became one of wrestling’s most imitated gimmicks, Anderson built his career on a versatile style blending technical wrestling and brawling, with his feud against Kurt Angle in TNA standing as one of the most memorable stretches of his run.

Anderson now runs a pro wrestling school in the Twin Cities and continues to work several independent promotions. In September 2025, he officially returned to TNA after nine years away from the promotion. His comeback was sparked when Frankie Kazarian used Anderson’s US Army Reserve service to bait him into a confrontation during the King’s Speech segment. Anderson was victorious in his return match on the September 25 episode of Impact, partnering with Steve Maclin to defeat Kazarian and Jake Something. Anderson later described the TNA return as a “one-off” on his Mic Check podcast.
