Mr. Iguana

Culiacán-born high-flyer who debuted on the Mexican independent circuit in 2009, Mr. Iguana built his name through years of charismatic, humor-infused work before signing with AAA in 2020, winning the Copa Bardahl battle royal at Triplemanía XXIX in 2021 and capturing the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Championship for the first time in 2024 alongside La Hiedra. His breakout WWE moment came at the Worlds Collide crossover event on June 7, 2025, where he teamed with Octagón Jr. and Aero Star to defeat Lince Dorado and LWO, sparking a wave of fan attention that extended his visibility beyond AAA.

In February 2026, Iguana began a second AAA World Mixed Tag Team Championship reign, this time partnering with NXT Women’s Champion Lola Vice. The duo successfully defended the titles on April 11 against Dinamico and La Hiedra, and again on April 20 at WWE World at WrestleMania 42 at the Las Vegas Convention Center against Shiloh Hill and Thea Hail. On June 13, 2026, Vice and Iguana defended once more, with La Hiedra — who has cycled through Ethan Page, Dinamico, and now Joaquin Wilde as partners in pursuit of revenge against her former tag partner — again failing to reclaim the gold.
