Necro Butcher

One of the most celebrated deathmatch wrestlers in American independent history, Dylan Summers — better known as Necro Butcher — built his legacy across IWA Mid-South, CZW, ROH, PWG, and Big Japan Pro Wrestling, winning the 2002 IWA Mid-South King of the Deathmatch and the CZW King of the Deathmatch Tournament. His all-time classic match against Samoa Joe permanently etched his name into independent wrestling history. He is also well known for his appearance in the 2008 film The Wrestler.

At BJPW Blow the Night 2024, Necro came out of retirement to team with Mad Man Pondo against Hideyoshi Kamitani and Abdullah Kobayashi in a Light Tubes Tag Team Match, during which he broke his hip in four places and was confined to a wheelchair following the encounter. The deathmatch legend slowly worked his way out of the wheelchair and into a walker, from walker to cane, and from cane back to the ring. On October 31st, Necro Butcher ended his retirement for a Sabu tribute show hosted by Danger Pro Wrestling.
