/ ABOUT NIGEL MCGUINNESS
The longest reigning ROH Pure Champion at 350 days, McGuinness became a technical wrestling staple with his historic 545-day ROH World Championship reign. Based in Ring of Honor throughout his prime, he worked briefly in TNA as Desmond Wolfe before injuries forced retirement in 2011.
Now signed to All Elite Wrestling as a color commentator on Collision, McGuinness occasionally competes in AEW matches. He entered AEW's Continental Cup tournament as a competitor, balancing his commentary duties with select in-ring appearances.
