About Pat McAfee
McAfee built his wrestling career through an intense rivalry with Adam Cole that led to his in-ring debut at NXT TakeOver XXX. His biggest wins included victories over Austin Theory at WrestleMania 38 and The Miz at WrestleMania 39. With a combination of fearless approach and high-flying highlights like his Swanton Bomb homage, McAfee impressed the sports-entertainment world. Beyond competition, he joined the SmackDown announce team in April 2021 alongside Michael Cole and became a fixture as color commentator across major pay-per-views.
McAfee retired from professional wrestling on April 18, 2026. In 2026, he returned on SmackDown and aligned with Randy Orton before leaving once again after WrestleMania 42. He now appears on ESPN’s Monday Night Countdown team for the 2026 NFL season and continues hosting his media ventures, having stepped away from active wrestling involvement to focus on broadcasting and entertainment projects.
