Peter Tihanyi
About Peter Tihanyi
One of European wrestling’s most compelling young talents, the Budapest-born Tihanyi debuted in 2018 and built his reputation across the continent’s independent scene — racking up the HCW Championship twice, the HCW Revolution Championship, and the GWF Tag Team titles alongside Fast Time Moodo before becoming a two-time wXw Unified World Wrestling Champion. His high-flying, hard-hitting style — built around a 450 Splash, Bicycle Kick, and the Paradise Kick — made him a fixture in wXw’s 16 Carat Gold tournament and a measuring stick for the European scene’s best.
Most recently, Tihanyi captured the GWF World Championship at GWF Legacy 2024, then defended it against Mustafa Ali at GWF Global Warning in February 2025 before injury forced him to vacate the title. He returned to GWF in November 2025, defeating Ali in a non-title rematch, and his standout showing against Eddie Kingston at wXw in 2026 has further cemented him as one of the hottest names on the European independents.
