R-Truth blazed through the Attitude Era as K-Kwik teaming with Road Dogg before his 2002 exit, then headlined TNA as the first African-American NWA World Heavyweight Champion, capturing the strap twice and co-founding 3Live Kru. Upon returning to WWE in 2008, he battled John Cena for the WWE Championship, captured Tag Team gold with Kofi Kingston, won two United States Championships, and at WrestleMania XL captured Raw Tag Team Titles alongside The Miz in a Six-Pack Ladder Match. His 24/7 Championship odyssey—54 total reigns spanning airplanes, hotels, Comic-Con, and weddings—became legendary.

R-Truth is currently one-half of the WWE Tag Team Champions with Damian Priest following his June 2025 return at Money in the Bank after a controversial June 1 release. He signed a four-year deal with a three-year option, initially returning with a serious Ron Killings character before reverting to comedy.
