One of wrestling’s most naturally gifted talkers, Ricky Starks built his reputation through a slick promo style and a charisma ceiling few of his peers can touch. After winning the inaugural revived NWA World Television Championship and the FTW title in AEW as part of Team Taz, he captured the 2023 Owen Hart Cup and the AEW World Tag Team Championship alongside Big Bill before inconsistent booking and injury derailed his main event momentum, ultimately leading to his AEW departure in early 2025.
Now competing as Ricky Saints on WWE SmackDown, the New Orleans native hit the ground running in NXT — capturing both the NXT North American Championship and the NXT Championship (defeating Oba Femi at No Mercy 2025) before being called up to the main roster. His SmackDown debut on May 1, 2026 saw him go straight at Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes in a non-title match, falling short but making an unmistakable statement in the process.
