Rob Van Dam
About Rob Van Dam

A distinctive high-flyer known for acrobatic kicks and martial arts-influenced offense, Rob Van Dam defined ECW during the latter 1990s, winning the ECW Television Championship for 700 days and the ECW World Tag Team Championship with Sabu before transitioning to WWE. After winning the 2006 Money in the Bank ladder match at WrestleMania 22, he cashed in against John Cena at One Night Stand to become WWE Champion, then received the reactivated ECW World Heavyweight Championship two days later, making him the only wrestler to hold both titles simultaneously. In WWE he won multiple Intercontinental, Tag Team, Hardcore, and European Championships across his career.
After returning to the ring in February 2026 following a heel injury that sidelined him for nearly a year, Van Dam has been receiving substantial booking requests and remains active in independent promotions and AEW. Open to considering a WWE return, he’s indicated the company has his number for conversations and is scheduled to appear at WWE World in April 2026, though he’s resistant to the idea of a formal retirement tour.
