“Rowdy” Ronda Rousey is the only woman to become champion in both the UFC and WWE, and the only woman to headline a pay-per-view in both companies. In WWE, she won the Raw Women’s Championship at SummerSlam 2018, the SmackDown Women’s Championship twice — first at WrestleMania 38 in 2022 — and the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship with Shayna Baszler in 2023. That tag reign made her the eighth Women’s Triple Crown Champion, with she and Baszler also unifying the WWE and NXT Women’s Tag Team titles. Her submission-based style, anchored by a judo armbar that ended careers in the UFC, translated seamlessly into WWE.

On May 16, 2026, Rousey made a one-off MMA return under Most Valuable Promotions at MVP MMA 1 on Netflix, defeating Gina Carano via armbar submission just 17 seconds into the first round at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.
