The Bulgarian Brute bulldozed through WWE’s main roster from his 2014 debut, riding an undefeated streak managed by Lana, capturing the United States Championship three times, and famously arriving at WrestleMania 31 in a tank. He also claimed the AEW TNT Championship during his Miro run and earned PWI Most Improved and WON Best Gimmick honors in 2014. The Accolade and his raw Bulgarian power made him one of the most legitimately threatening big men of his era.

After signing a new WWE deal in April 2025, Rusev returned to Raw and immediately targeted Alpha Academy. He competed in the WrestleMania 42 ladder match for Penta’s Intercontinental Championship in April 2026. He is currently teaming with Ethan Page, and per the WAW coverage provided, he is booked against Chad Gable on the June 15, 2026 edition of Raw — Gable’s first in-ring match since being unmasked as Original El Grande Americano.
